Peter J. Kazanovicz, BCO
Peter is the owner and president of both Studley Ocular Labs and Monoplex Eye Prosthetics. Peter graduated from Worcester Institute of Technology in 1985 and went on to train at American Optical Monoplex Prosthetics Division.
In 1991 Peter relocated to Southern, NH where he took over for Isabel Studley, BCO, as Owner and Lead Ocularist of Studley Ocular Laboratories, a well-established practice with offices in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Peter received his Board Certification with the American Society of Ocularists that very same year and was recently awarded the title of Board Approved Diplomate Ocularist.
In 2001 Peter purchased Monoplex Eye Prosthetics, in Sturbridge Ma, the very same practice where he once trained.
Peter has distinguished himself in the field of Ocularistry as an artist and healthcare provider with excellent technical skills which allow him to create incredibly life like, handcrafted custom ocular prosthetics. Patients from all over the world have come to seek out his expertise and perfection for their prosthetic eye needs He works closely with many Oculoplastic surgeons and Opthalmologists to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care possible.
He currently travels between all office locations and prides himself on being available and accessible to patients all over New England.

Lindsey Kazanovicz-Boyle
BCO
Lindsey received her Board Certification in 2017 from the American Society of Ocularists after a ten year apprenticeship under the tutelage of her Father, Peter. She began her rigorous training in 2008, after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from Emmanuel College in 2007. Lindsey brings a warmth and accessibility to our practices and she is proud to carry on the family tradition of making beautiful custom ocular prosthetics.
Her ability to make patients comfortable and happy with their prosthetic eye care is her highest priority. “Our goal is for patients to walk in and feel from the start that they are comfortable, safe and on their way to a new beginning.” She is always accessible to patients to answer questions and explain the process of creating a beautiful and unique custom eye
Christopher Kazanovicz
Christopher is an Ocularist and Laboratory Technician who has been working in the Ocularistry field since 2010. His training is focused on producing the highest quality prosthetics with an attention to detail instilled in him by Peter. He has an exceptional aptitude toward color theory and painting techniques bring depth, life and true beauty to the ocular prosthetics that he paints. “The custom lab work we do require a high level of attention to detail and this attention to detail ensures each eye has the best fit possible.”
Beth Newman
Beth is our Front Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator as well that she is a loving, caring, front office manager of the Monoplex Offices. For her, patient care starts with the first phone call. “It is my job to make sure patients feel welcome and at ease from the start.” She guides patients through the details of insurance requirements, scheduling appointments and is a truly wonderful asset to our company. She is always available to sit and chat with our patients, make them a cup of coffee and help them relax and feel comfortable.
